FAQ page
Can anyone become a web tester?
No. We accept new members on an invite only basis. If you found the registration link on a forum page, or your friend sent it to you then we will not be able to accept you as a member. We do have a waiting list you can join here but at this stage the interest is so overwhelming we don’t have a time line on when we will accept more testers
What kind of tasks will I be doing?
Tasks can vary based on our clients’ needs. They are mostly focused around UX and fault-finding on their online business flows. Testing websites and apps to make sure they operate as they should on various devices.
Do I need any prior experience to become a web tester?
No experience is needed at all. Most of our tasks are extremely quick and simply to do
What do I need to become a web tester?
You just need an internet connection, a mobile device or computer to perform the tasks on, and a PayPal account so we can pay you
What happens if I don’t have a Paypal account?
You can sign up and create a Paypal account for free
I need to change my PayPal email address in my WebTest.club account, how can I do that?
Please email us and tell us what your old Paypal email was, and the new Paypal email address you would like to use and we can update your account for you
Can I refer friends or family to webtest.club?
Unfortunately not at this stage. Recruiting is quite specific to client needs as they decide the type of tester they need. For example there could be a demand for just certain regions and devices
How many accounts am I allowed to create as a web tester?
Strictly one account per person and also one per household. Anyone found with more than one account will have all accounts deactivated, earnings confiscated and will no longer be able to participate.
What should I do if I have a problem with any of the tasks?
Simply reply to the actual email that contains the task you are having the issue with and provide us with details on what the issue is that you are facing. Screen shots are always handy for us to trouble-shoot any issues.
**Please do not contact any of the websites (our clients) that you are searching for, as they will not be able to help you with any web test club related tasks**
How much will I get paid for my tasks?
We pay anything from $0.01 up to $10 per task (sometimes more for really specific tasks). This varies dependant on what the task is; your past task accuracy/quality and also how active you have been with us.
How do I get paid?
We pay all successfully completed tasks into your PayPal account. This is why we request your PayPal email address when you register. It allows us to send all payments to your PayPal account.
When will I get paid?
We pay for all successfully completed tasks approximately 48-72 hours after receipt of the task answer, Monday through to Friday. We do not process any payments on the weekends or public holidays.
I have completed a few tasks but still haven’t been paid, what should I do?
If you have passed the 72 hour threshold and still haven’t received a payment, please contact us via email and we will look into why you have not received your payment
When will I receive my first task?
The first task is sent immediately upon registration. We generally send you a new task each day dependent upon our client’s needs.
**Please make sure to check your spam/junk filter and move our messages to inbox or whitelist us as senders to ensure you receive all tasks**
Why have I stopped receiving tasks?
One reason could be that you violated our rules and your account was terminated.
But if you have been following the rules, then note that tasks are set up based on our clients’ current testing requirements. When a current campaign stops, that may mean a short pause in tasks being sent out. But don’t worry if this happens, there will be plenty more available over time and you will start receiving them again. We have a lot for you to do!
Is this open to all devices?
You can register with any device.
Will I need to download anything?
You will not need to download anything for the standard tasks. We do have more specialised tasks from time to time which may involve downloads, though the remuneration for such tasks is higher due to the time involved and any downloads required would be 100% safe.
I no longer wish to receive tasks, how can I unsubscribe?
You can unsubscribe from the mailing list by using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails. You will no longer receive any tasks from us once you unsubscribe
